Dr. Michael Kosoy is a renowned Research Biologist and Transdisciplinary Scientist with over 40 years of experience in infectious disease research, zoonotic diseases, and evolutionary biology.

His groundbreaking research at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) focused on understanding the complex interactions between pathogens, vectors, and hosts in natural ecosystems. His work has significantly contributed to our understanding of disease transmission dynamics and has influenced public health policies worldwide.

In recognition of his noteworthy accomplishments, Dr. Kosoy has received several accolades, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary's Award for his team's work in response to the Ebola epidemic. His international activities include, but not limited to P.R. China, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Georgia (country), Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kosovo, Israel, Kenya, D.R. Congo, Canada, Peru, and Guatemala.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Kosoy has authored over 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications and multiple books, establishing himself as a leading authority in vector-borne diseases, bacterial pathogenesis, and ecological systems.

Dr. Kosoy's unique approach combines rigorous scientific methodology with philosophical inquiry, exploring the deeper meanings and patterns underlying biological phenomena. His transdisciplinary perspective integrates insights from epistemic relativism, history of science, philosophy of biology, semiotics, complex dynamic system theory, and Kabbalistic traditions.

About the Book

This book introduces a new intellectual framework—Kabbalistic Biology—that integrates contemporary biological science with the ancient metaphysical principles of Kabbalah. The book proposes that biological reality cannot be fully understood through conventional observation alone. Instead, life must be approached as a multi-layered system, in which visible phenomena emerge from vast and largely invisible dimensions of organization, information, and meaning.

WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER

Kabbalistic Biology calls for a renewed intellectual humility: an acknowledgment that the unknown is not a margin but a dominant feature of living systems. Readers are invited to reconsider the nature of scientific knowledge itself—not as a finished map of reality, but as a continually evolving dialogue with mystery. By learning to navigate both what is observable and what is hidden, we gain a richer, more ethical, and more resilient approach to understanding life and making decisions that affect both human health and the living world as a whole.

Drawing on examples from microbiology, virology, ecology, neuroscience, and developmental biology, the book illustrates how most essential aspects of life exist beyond direct observation. Using the symbolic structure of the Tree of Life and the 22 Hebrew letters as conceptual tools, the author maps biological complexity across ten interactive dimensions that connect the physical world with deeper organizational realms.
